LIGHT / LIFE
LIGHT/LIFE is a body of work that explores the elemental tension between darkness and light—in the cosmos, in nature, and within the human spirit. Through large-scale, luminous canvases, the series contemplates light not just as a visual phenomenon, but as a metaphysical force—revealing, animating, piercing, dissolving. These works trace the arc of light’s journey through shadow, considering how illumination is born from obscurity and how both coexist as essential conditions of life. Influenced by spiritual cosmologies, world history, and the language of the natural world, LIGHT/LIFE invites viewers into a space of transformation—where mystery and clarity, matter and spirit, origin and becoming are in constant interplay. The series aims to reflect the full range of human experience—grief, awe, longing, revelation—while gesturing toward a greater order that pulses quietly beneath the visible.
